PELOBiotech proudly hosts the First Annual Conference on June 27, 2024, 'Advancements in Animal-free Research and Translational Medicine'.

We will present and discuss animal-free methodologies and their transformative impact on translational medicine. Our panel includes speakers such as Prof. Dr. Gerhard Gstraunthaler on serum alternatives, Prof. Dr. Bernd Giebel on translational challenges of MSC-EVs, Dr. Anita Wagner on using human adipocyte spheroids for obesity research, Dr. Kurt Pfannkuche on scaling cardiac organoids, Dr. Raquel Sousa on humanized multi-organoid disease models, and Dr. Lothar Steeb, on the progression towards fully defined media. Dr. Flavia Rezende's topic will be announced soon.

This collective expertise promises to offer profound insights into a replacement of animal models with more ethical, reliable, and relevant research methodologies, underscoring a significant shift towards advancing scientific understanding and enhancing medical treatments without animal testing. This conference focuses on discussing applications and up-to date approaches, exchanging ideas with the experts in their field face to face, connecting, and getting together.
